Who We Are
At the School of Digital Humanities, we begin with a simple but urgent question:
‘How can education serve world peace in a digital age?’
Today, human values are often overshadowed by profit and efficiency, and education risks being reduced to a tool of inequality rather than transformation. We believe education must reclaim its higher purpose: to cultivate self-understanding, generate trustworthy knowledge, and inspire compassionate action.
SDH is not only an educational platform but a movement, an ecosystem where learners, institutions, and communities are guided by three essential pillars: Wisdom, Knowledge, and Love. Through these, we seek not merely to study peace but to build the conditions where peace becomes possible.
Governance Philosophy
At the School of Digital Humanities, education is more than skills or credentials. It is a journey of transformation. Guided by an autoethnographic approach, each learner begins with the self, moving through Wisdom, Knowledge, and Love. These three pillars form the compass of our curriculum, enabling individuals and institutions to cultivate clarity, rigour, and compassion in a digital age.
In a world where digitalisation often eclipses human values, education must reclaim its true purpose: to foster self-understanding, generate trustworthy knowledge, and serve humanity. Without this balance, education risks becoming a tool of inequality. SDH resists this trend by uniting reflection, scholarship, and compassion into a holistic ecosystem, where digital transformation is harnessed for the sake of justice, sustainability, and peace.
Our Pillars

Wisdom
In a world of digital noise, Wisdom calls us back to the self. Drawing from ancient traditions, diverse cultures, and mindful practices, we cultivate the clarity to see within and the resilience to act without. Through reflection, meditation, and autoethnographic practice, this pillar grounds us in balance and truth, the foundation of all learning.

Knowledge
Knowledge is the bridge between awareness and action. At SDH, it is cultivated through rigorous academic research, interdisciplinary study, and critical digital literacy. This pillar equips learners and institutions with the expertise to address urgent global challenges, from inequality and racial injustice to climate change and technological ethics. Rooted in scholarship yet open to plural voices, Knowledge at SDH ensures decisions are informed, solutions are credible, and futures are built on evidence as well as vision.

Love-Compassion
Love is Wisdom and Knowledge in motion. It is the practice of compassion, justice, and altruism that transforms insight into action. Rooted in truth and carried by empathy, this pillar calls us to embody the values we seek in the world. Here, education becomes more than study, it becomes service, connection, and the path to peace.

Make it stand out.
About the Founder: Caner Sucuoglu
I did not arrive here by accident. My journey through law, political economy, and cultural data was never only about degrees or positions; it was about searching for truth, justice, and a deeper humanity in a world that often forgets both. I have worked as a consultant, a lawyer, a researcher, and a teacher, but in each role the question has remained the same: How can we create a world where dignity, compassion, and peace are not ideals, but lived realities?
The School of Digital Humanities is the answer I have begun to shape. It grows out of my conviction that education must return to its highest calling, not to manufacture workers, but to nurture human beings who embody wisdom, knowledge, and love. My own path has been marked by both the rigour of academia and the tenderness of spiritual practice, by moments of recognition in policy rooms and moments of silence in prayer. These experiences have taught me that peace cannot be legislated into existence; it must be cultivated in the heart and practised in community.
Through this school, I seek to bring together the worlds I have walked in: governments and grassroots, tradition and technology, reason and spirit. I believe that if we anchor education in human values, we can build an ecosystem where world peace is not a utopian dream, but a collective practice, one that grows stronger with each student, each teacher, and each act of compassion.
This is my life’s work. And it is only the beginning.
